I%26#039;ve been to 5 doctors and none of them helped I%26#039;m 35, do moderate exercise (brisk walking for at least 30 mins a day, yoga twice a week, weight training twice a week, occasional jogging). Don%26#039;t smoke. I eat healthily. My cholesterol levels are very healthy. My blood pressure is usually around 115/75. The highest it has ever been is 120/80. I%26#039;m not even slightly overweight. I used to run track for my college. But...despite all this, my resting heart rate shot up to 95 bpm a year ago. (Previously it had always been around 50 to 60, depending on how fit I was). I invested in a heart rate monitor and what I%26#039;ve been seeing for the past months is terrifying to me. When I do modertae exercise, like taking a brisk walk, my heart rate shoots up to 150 to 160. I just went jogging five minutes ago and I had to stop after 20 minutes because my heart rate was up to 198!!!! And I was getting an ache just above my left breast. One doc did a cardiogram recently and said all%26#039;s normal.

It sounds like you are your own evil, you are paying so much attention to signs of heart disease that it is actually happening to you.
Do you see how powerful the mind is?
Let go of all the baggage and all the gadgets that you are using to monitor your heart rate and enjoy life, continue to exercise and also exercise your mind and spirit.
Calm down in other words because no amount of exercise can calm your spirit or mind when you are at peace internally your heart rate and all other symptoms will disappear.
Try to calm down, meditate listen to calming music etc.and stop with the monitors.

Just a thought, but have your doctors tested your thyroid?

Another thought, maybe your monitor is wrong.
Take your pulse by hand and see what it is running. Store bought BP cuffs and heart monitors aren%26#039;t always reliable.
And if your heart rate continues to run that high, get a second opinion. Preferrably from a cardiac specialist or a internal medicine doctor.

You are probably obsessing. Even though you say you do moderate exercise a week, you actually do more. Slow down. You are going to make yourself crazy. There is a certain truth that some runners have to stop running. Their endorphins get out of control and it%26#039;s like being high on drugs - this is a bad thing - and it sounds to me like you are there. The biggest clue to the obsessing is that you%26#039;ve seen FIVE doctors - and it sounds like when one told you you were okay, you just kept looking for one who would tell you you were not okay. Slow down or you will give yourself a problem for certain.

sounds like stress. I answered the other thing you posted about your boyfriend and im thinking him being in your life is causing you stress and anxiety.
I think you need to make a major life change and one of them is to get rid of him and find a nice loving giving caring guy who supports you for your sucesses and downs.
