I want it to make sure I keep up a certain heart rate for for a period of time. That will probably be the only use I will have for it.
Anyone know of a good heart rate monitor?
Polar is the dominant brand. I%26#039;ve used them with no problems
I bought a Sigma Sport on clearance at the the Chicago Bike Show a couple years ago and it works fine.
The sensor belts are all the same whether you get the cheapest or top of the line.
If all you want is heart rate without any of the stopwatch, alarm, or average functions, the cheapest one you can find will be OK.
