How accurate do you think the heart rate monitors are on Precor ellipticals in gyms? I work out on the ones with the sensors on the handle bars and the %26quot;ski arms.%26quot; I want to work out in my target zone, as I think I%26#039;ve been %26quot;over doing it%26quot; alot. Do you think these sensors are as accurate as a chest-belt version HRM?

They both are pretty accurate, we use the handles, as the chest belts would have to be purchased seperately. The handles work fine.

I think that the sensors are pretty accurate-you can usually tell if you are working out of your target zone and are overdoing it-you will be breathless.
