Well both work on the same principle of sensing pulses - from the chest or from the wrist. I guess chest monitor is more accurate because it has a stronger pulse to work on while the wrist has a faint pulse that even trained practitioners need extra-care to find it.
Consider the comfort you%26#039;ll gain in using either of the two in a particular activity. A wrist sensor would be nice if you%26#039;re running outdoor. Running on a treadmill - a chest monitor will do.
