Can there be a diference in the heart rate on the bedside monitor and central station monitor in ICU

the bedside monitor and central station monitor are connected togather, can their be analogy or difference in the readings between the two monitors every minute,is it something to do with the default settings of the bedside monitor and the programming of the central station monitor?or something else

Can there be a diference in the heart rate on the bedside monitor and central station monitor in ICU?

in the ICU there must be who watch u from out side .. so they invented .. something called patient monitor which have all reading of the patient and display this reading on the nursing unit to watch and updated if there is any risk for the patient

so the equipment it self exist in ICU and the displays must be in too room the ICU room and central station

anyway there is no different in the reading .. cause :

if there is any error in reading that will lead to wrong decision about patient state .

good luck and i wish i could answer Ur Q
